the location had plenty of parking spaces available. all staff members were polite. they were very helpful from the reception area to the restaurant. the room included an iron, ironing board, fridge, and safe (that's always a plus).

the pillows were not very comfortable, they felt quite hard.

the building is quite attractive.

I found the lack of staff rather noticeable. breakfast felt chaotic. there were few clean tables and food ran out quickly. it seemed management's fault, not the staff's. They were obviously overworked and perhaps used to dealing with complaints.

A Good Stay With Nice Staff

Our group enjoyed the clean grounds. The staff were helpful with managing a nut allergy. Spa treatments were wonderful, leaving us refreshed. Staff across the hotel were fantastic. They assisted us with every need . I appreciate their attentiveness.

The economy room I booked felt small. It also seemed a little run down for the price.

Really good Salhouse Suite Experience

Check-in was smooth and efficient. I stayed in the Salhouse Suite, specifically room 125, which features a huge bed and separate shower cubicle. The bath was very large. I found plenty of shower gels and lotions. The room included a large wardrobe with robes and ironing equipment. A coffee machine was available with coffee pods. I also appreciated the fridge.

This would have been a nice additional perk.

I dined in, and the service was prompt. My steak was cooked perfectly. I chose desserts from a vast menu and the portion was generous. Breakfast included many options like breads, pastries, cereals, and a full English breakfast.

The bar area features comfortable Chesterfield sofas. A lovely fire was burning in the lounge. I noticed the pool looked great, though I did not have time to use it. I saw a gym on the premises, though I did not use it either.
